A Note Card Company Tailored to Golf Enthusiasts
The idea for our cards originated from the fact that my wife, Barbara, is a self-proclaimed card-addict. She has dragged me through card stores all over the country. It was always my impression that there were never any suitable cards that I would send to my friends. We began to discuss the idea of creating a note card company. I felt that the focus would be golf, as it is one of the only things I know much about. (The other being Vascular Surgery).
In the fall of 1996, I found the name for our company. I was playing golf at Pinehurst® on a rare male bonding trip with eleven of my best friends (the Pinehurst® Pals). I had a delightful caddie who, for 18 holes read every putt as "inside right". When asked how all putts could be "inside right", he replied, "Doc, my eyesight isn't very good". I missed a lot of putts that day, but discovered a great name for our company - InsideRight.®
My two partners are Louis Colescott, a very talented graphic designer, and Rusty Flynn, a wonderfully skilled photographer and master of computer enhancement. We have worked to glorify the wonder and spirit of the game and beauty of the course. I hope you enjoy the cards as much as we enjoy creating them.
